Darren Richards
Head of Training & DevelopmentDarren Richards
Head of Training & DevelopmentDarren started working for SweetTree in July 2021 as Training and Development Manager with an absolute passion for the growth of people! He started his career in Learning and Health Care with the Ambulance Service, having spent 13 years as trainer, progressing to the role of Academy Supervisor. After spending so long with the Ambulance Service, Darren was on the hunt for new ventures and had a spell as Regional Trainer/IC Training Manager within the finance sector learning a new industry and new models, before returning to Health Care with SweetTree. The experience Darren got from both companies has helped him design and deliver different types of training that are not only developing our team as employees but as people too!
In his spare time, Darren coaches grassroots football and currently manages his son’s Chigwell team. Not a stranger to the pitch he also likes to still play when he can!
