Support Manager, Brain Injury & Neurological Conditions 

£33,000 – £37,500 dependent upon experience

Calling all impassioned Brain Injury Specialists.  Thanks to our phenomenal reputation SweetTree Home Care Services is growing and seeks to employ two new highly enthusiastic and skilled Brian Injury Support Managers to join our BI and neurological conditions team.  SweetTree’s mission is to help people to reach their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone who seeks to change lives by providing the highest quality community care and rehabilitation for adults who have sustained a brain injury or a long-term neurological condition. The successful BI Support Manager will have an in depth understanding of the impact that having a brain injury will have on people’s lives, regardless of whether that injury is traumatic or organic in nature.  You will be a positive team player with extensive experience working in the community and have proven skills in setting up and managing rehabilitation focused support packages.

Key tasks of a Support Manager include: 

  • Manage your own caseload of clients for whom you will conduct thorough needs assessments, prepare care, and support plans which reflect the client’s needs
  • Participate in the management, recruitment and personal development of Support Workers
  • Acting as an advocate for your clients by working with their MDT and family to ensure the best quality of care for everyone is achieved.

Skills and experience for a Support Manager includes: 

  • Experience working with and improving the lives of people who have sustained a brain injury or a long-term neurological condition in the community
  • Care management is desirable
  • Proven experience of undertaking assessments and reviews
  • A relevant professional qualification such as social work, occupational therapy, psychology, speech and language therapy or nursing, is desirable
