Brain Injury Support Worker –  New Barnet

£11.85 per hour. Shifts available are 8am-8pm Tuesday and Wednesday

We are currently recruiting for a team of experienced support worker to provide support to our client in New Barnet who has sustained a brain injury following a road traffic accident. Our client is a nice and chilled gentleman who enjoys spending time with people. He likes it when support workers are chatty and make jokes as he loves to smile and laugh. He likes doing activities with support workers such as going out to the community, playing with the ball, watching TV, and doing quizzes. 

During the 12 hours shift support workers will have 2 breaks while he spends time with his wife. 

As part of our client’s rehabilitation programme, he will need:

  • Encouragement and support to participate in activities to assist her to achieve independence
  • Support with day to day tasks such as budgeting, managing appointments and assisting with correspondence
  • Support with attending social and sport opportunities
