Brain Injury Support Worker, Colindale
Monday – Friday 10am – 3pm and Saturday and Sunday – 10am – 2pm
Hourly pay rates from £11.85 - £13.85 per hour
SweetTree Home Care Services has been committed to providing exceptional support and community-based services for people with acquired brain injuries and long-term neurological conditions for 18+ years.
We currently have opportunities for dynamic brain injury support workers to develop their skills and experience by supporting our clients who have acquired a brain injury, in and around London.
We are currently looking for a support worker to support our client in Colindale, NW9 who is very sociable and likes to go out in the community to access vocational activities including gardening, exercise, road safety awareness, safe travel on public transport and shopping. Our client is looking for someone to help him engage in meal planning and to be independent with housework tasks such as laundry and cleaning. Our client is very friendly, loves to have a laugh, go out and feed birds and watch his beloved West Ham.
The support worker role can be quite a challenging environment so skills such as a cheerful outlook, compassion, resilience and passion to make a difference, are key. You will be supported by our extensively experienced office team and multidisciplinary therapists.
