SweetTree’s website has now become more accessible than ever, thanks to our new Recite Me accessibility toolbar.

Besides marking a crucial step forward in our ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion, this is a direct reflection of our identity. As an organisation, we are built on diversity, with a team that represents over 50 nationalities and speaks more than 30 languages. Our team’s wellbeing and engagement programme focuses on celebrating our diversity and encouraging cultural exchanges, and is embedded in everything we do -from team celebrations to training opportunities.

Website Tools designed for INCLUSION
Recite Me brings a range of powerful tools designed to remove barriers and improve user experience. Its built-in translation functionality allows visitors to access our content in multiple languages, supporting clients who are not native English speakers, as well as individuals worldwide seeking information about care services or specific health conditions.
The platform also includes features tailored to different accessibility needs. Users can now:
- Switch to fonts that are easier to read for individuals with dyslexia
- Adjust text size for improved readability
- Use text-to-speech functionality to support those with visual impairments or reading difficulties
Why ACCESSIBILITY in Care Matters
As a specialist care provider with over 20 years of experience, we deeply understand the importance of accessibility in care. Enabling individuals to access information, spaces, and activities is key to achieving independence. By making our content accessible to more people, we contribute to removing some of the barriers experienced by individuals with disabilities and empower them to make more informed care decisions.
This initiative is part of our broader commitment to creating a more inclusive world. We actively collaborate with other organisations to improve access to resources and raise standards across the sector. This includes our ongoing partnership with Engage, through which we deliver specialist hearing loss care training, helping ensure that individuals with hearing impairments receive the understanding and support they deserve.
By implementing Recite Me, we are not only improving our website but also taking a meaningful step toward a more accessible and equitable future, one where everyone can access the information and support they need.
