On October 28th, the SweetTree team attended the Neurological and Complex Care Awards ceremony, and we’re very happy to share that we brought home two wins!

These inaugural awards recognise excellence in specialist care across the UK, celebrating best practice, dedication, and innovation within the sector.

As a leading London home care provider that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care for individuals with a range of specialist needs, we’re thrilled to have been recognised with a win in the following categories:

  • Best Use of Technology in Care: Winner – SweetTree Home Care Services team
  • Care and Support Worker of the Year: High Commendation – specialist support worker Charles S.
SweetTree Award 2025

“I’m incredibly proud of our team and of all they have achieved. What is particularly special about these awards and nominations is that they each speak to a different facet of our commitment to delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

“It is our people who really set us apart, so I’m thrilled to see our carer Charles getting a High Commendation for Support Worker of the Year, recognising the outstanding impact he has on every individual with complex needs he supports.

“Our award for Best Use of Technology in Care highlights another area where we continue to raise the bar at SweetTree. We are committed to harnessing the power of technology to improve quality of life and care outcomes, while supporting trust, transparency and communication”.

For example, our SweetTree Connect system, which is currently being piloted, integrates advanced monitoring systems with real-time data analytics and secure communication tools. The technology allows for continuous monitoring of clients’ health and well-being, while highlighting patterns and trends that can be invaluable for their wider multidisciplinary care team.

In addition, we are continually exploring ways to leverage technology to further enhance communication and coordination between caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals. This commitment ensures the development of more effective and holistic care plans.

SweetTree Award 2025

Aside from the two wins mentioned above, we are also very proud to be finalists for the following categories:

· Care and Support Worker of the Year: for our support worker, Gintare

· Manager of the Year: for our care manager, Isabel

· Outstanding Patient and Family Support

· Most Compassionate Care Provider

Being named a finalist for Outstanding Patient and Family Support and Most Compassionate Care Provider is also especially meaningful. These categories reflect the heart of what we do at SweetTree, where we are focused on building meaningful relationships and creating care plans that are built around dignity, respect, independence, and personal goals.

Whether we are supporting someone through brain injury rehabilitation, with specialist dementia care, or to navigate a complex neurological condition, our team works collaboratively with families, clinicians, and community partners to deliver care that truly makes a difference.

We would like to thank CareTalk and Care England for a fantastic event, and congratulate all winners and nominees on their incredible achievements. We’re proud to stand alongside so many who share our mission: providing the best possible care to our community.

Enabling care that supports quality of life

Since our founding in 2002, we have supported thousands of individuals with a range of care needs. Twice rated ‘Outstanding’ by the CQC – a distinction that sets the company apart from other providers – SweetTree is also proud to be an Investors in People Gold standard company.

SweetTree offers a comprehensive range of care services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Their services include specialist care for neurological conditions, dementia care, brain injury rehabilitation, and support for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

These award nominations are just the latest in a line of accolades. In 2024, we picked up the prestigious LaingBuisson ‘Excellence in Homecare’ award, while also gaining multiple nominations and awards at both the Health Investor Awards and Great British Care Awards.
