Learning Disability Support Worker

As a support worker, you will be responsible for supporting people with their goals based on their home environments or local community. Activities of support vary from daily living skills, personal care, travel escorts, the teaching of independent living skills to assist with accessing community-based activities such as going to college, swimming, work placements and other social and leisure activities. Successful candidates must have a minimum 6 months of experience supporting young adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism or complex behavioural needs

The specialist Learning Disabilities Service at SweetTree provides the highest quality care and support possible at home and in the community for people with mild, moderate and severe learning disabilities.
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Learning Disabilities Support Workers to provide support to our clients across London.

The candidate:
– Must have a minimum of 6 months experience supporting clients with Learning Disabilities, Complex Care and Mental Health
– Should be outgoing and have a bubbly personality
– Must have good level of spoken and written English
– Must be eligible to work in the UK
– A Degree in Psychology, Social Work or Mental Health would be desirable, but not essential
