Finance Assistant
£22,000 - £25,000 per annum
SweetTree Home Care is a well-established, leading community care provider in London and has recently been rated Outstanding by CQC for a second time.
We are currently looking for an exceptional individual to join us as a Finance Assistant, responsible for the day to day operations and problem solving for the Accounts Payable process across SweetTree. The successful Finance Assistant will have the opportunity to persue their finance qualifications, should they wish.
The Finance Assistant will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure all supplier invoices are processed and paid accurately and manage payment terms with suppliers
- Investigate and resolve invoice payment discrepancies with suppliers
- Ensure remittances are received and recorded
- Reconcile the AP ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and correctly posted
- Reconcile bank payments, credit card statements and upload to accounting system
- Manage Purchase Order Process, including authorisations
- Ensure compliance with process and procedures and continually develop to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Provide supplier reports, review KPIs and provide adhoc analyses as required
- Undertake adhoc tasks as requested by the Finance team
Finance Assistant Experience, Skills and Attitudes:
- Experience of working in Finance
- Knowledge of accounts / book keeping essential Ability to work under pressure and able to meet tight deadlines
- A proactive approach to investigate and resolve various issues
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
