SweetTree Farm Volunteer

At SweetTree Farm, we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers to help us in a variety of roles such as admin work; gardening; helping look after and feed the animals and general maintenance on the farm.

Volunteers are very important in helping us run our Farm that supports vulnerable adults and we appreciate all their hard work and time. We aim to provide meaningful opportunities and experiences for volunteers and help them to develop skills and knowledge in areas they are interested in.

The ideal volunteers should be able to work independently, take initiative, being adaptable, have good listening skills, and be sensitive to the needs of vulnerable people. It is also important to be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and mandatory training for each role will be provided.  

A volunteer's role at SweetTree Farm is a rewarding experience, as it provides many benefits in the way of new skills and career prospects. It provides a sense of achievement and fulfilment, allowing volunteers to be proud of their work while trying something new along the way.

We are happy to be flexible and volunteering doesn’t have to be weekly, it can be every other weekend, or one weekend a month, as long as it’s regular! We have volunteering opportunities throughout the year across all areas of the farm so even if you’ve only got a few hours to spare and are happy to get stuck in and work independently then we would love to hear from you. We will provide all the tools and materials you need.
