Senior Care Assistant *Internal Applicants Only*
3-month fixed term contract. Full time hours plus overtime. £12 per hour
 
We have an exciting opportunity to be part of our care team who are helping ease the pressure on the NHS by looking after patients who have been recently been discharged from hospital (due to a non-COVID-19 related illness) and need additional care & support within their first 2-3 days at home. These clients require non-COVID-19 related care, and the majority will live in and around the Islington area.
 
Daily tasks may include personal care, meal preparation, medication, household chores and help with mobility. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be available 40 hours per week on a 3 month fixed term contract basis and be happy travelling to and around Islington and other locations. 
 
This is a contracted position for 40 hours plus per week. Ideally have have experience of working with our dementia clients and be willing to work flexible hours to meet the service needs of our clients. 
 
Requirements
  • Continuity and reliability are key. You will be responding to changing client requirements 
  • Be willing to travel to various client’s locations within the Islington area.
  • Ideally have a knowledge of dementia although training may be provided.
  • Provide are to new clients, often at short notice.
  • Work with the clinical team to assist with ongoing assessments of the care needs for our clients.
