As part of our mission to assist the wider community to achieve the highest quality of life possible, SweetTree Home Care Services regularly seeks ways to roll out initiatives that reach far beyond our direct client base. As it became apparent that large numbers of the general public were delaying making critical decisions about their later life, we decided to launch a small-scale exploration into the causes of this.
Focus groups and desk research illuminated that while the information about how best to prepare for later life is out there, it is fragmented and confusing, with no clear cut advice on what to prioritise and how. Our response to this is to offer free Later Life Planning Workshops, as a one-stop-shop for all the key headlines, and an opportunity to ask questions in person from an expert in the field. This first session on March 20th is our pilot. We will ask participants for their feedback to ensure the best quality when the programme officially rolls out later this year.
The event is open to all, and a chance for any questions or concerns to be discussed in a supportive, yet knowledgable space.
