Abdul-Goni Ali - Management Accountant

Abdul graduated in January 2005 having gained a 2:1 in Accountancy and Finance and is currently in the process of completing his last few ACCA accountancy exams. He joined SweetTree as a Management Accountant in December 2010 and brings with him over 6 years of Finance experience. He enjoys spending time with his wife, travelling abroad and of course football!

 

Annette Warner - Dementia Care Manager

Annette first started working for SweetTree in 2005, and has experienced in all aspects of dementia care and training. Annette enjoys long walks with Horace her 'Pets as Therapy' Pooch and other her dog Audrey.  

Antoinette Edwards - Human Resources Manager

Antoinette joined Sweet Tree as a Care Coordinator. She previously worked as a care assistant for 5 years. She has qualifications in Social Work and Law and much work experience in Human Resources.
She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
 

Barry Sweetbaum - Founder

Barry is the founder of SweetTree and is responsible for the company’s business development and corporate affairs. When he is not at SweetTree he enjoys being at home with his wife and two children. 

Becky Halliday - Brain Injury Care Supervisor

After graduating with a Psychology degree in Glasgow I moved down to London to complete my Masters degree in Addiction Psychology. Having worked with different groups of vulnerable adults during my studies, I began working for the Brain Injury Service in September 2008, and moved to a Care Supervisor role at the start of 2010. I am a keen traveler and spend much of my free time seeing new places and experiencing different cultures and cuisine. 

Bhanu Gorasiya - Assistant Accountant

Bhanu joined the Sweettree team in August 2007 to take on the payroll, invoices and general accounts function. With over 8 years accounts experience she ensured that the finance department runs accurately and smoothly at all times. Originally from India, Bhanu enjoys speaking to clients and carers on a daily basis and in her spare time she likes travelling, swimming and seeing movies.

 

Bhavna Chouhan - Brain Injury Administrator

Bhavna graduated from Westminster with a BSc Psychology degree and has always been interested in helping, supporting and caring for people. Bhavna started her career at Sweettree as a Support Worker in 2009 and now working as a Brain Injury Administrator from July 2011. The team is fantastic and I have gained great experience and hope to learn more and more! After work I absolutely love shopping, and eating out, especially Nando’s!, spending time with friends. I enjoy socialising, meeting new people, travelling and exploring different destinations.  

Dean Bosher - Dementia Services Supervisor

Dean began working for SweetTree in December 2011, Dean has had many years of experience in various care roles, but has focused on Dementia and activities for people with Dementia. In his spare time he enjoy films and eating out.
 

Dela Begum - Learning Disabilities Service Manager

After joining SweetTree as a carer specialising in supporting people with learning disabilities, Dela became the company’s office manager. In 2004 she left to work in the voluntary sector, managing a home for adults with learning disabilities. She now heads SweetTree’s learning disabilities service. She enjoys shopping and cooking and dislikes cold weather and travelling. 

Dorota Kucala - Human Resources Assistant

Dorota has worked for SweetTree since May 2006. She is the Human Resources Assistant and is responsible for administrative tasks across all SweetTree services. In March 2010 she has completed Certificate in Personnel Practice and is now responsible for supporting carers through the recruitment process. Dorota is from Poland and lives in London with her husband and two children. In her free time, she likes visiting London’s museums and doing voluntary work within her Church Community.  

Elena Putik - Training Administrator.

Elena started her career at SweetTree as a support worker in 2009 and she shares: “Caring for people and having a closer touch to the ones in need is the most invaluable and priceless experience which I had the opportunity to enjoy thanks to SweetTree.” Originally from Bulgaria, Elena has completed a degree in BA International Relations in London and has recently joined the SweetTree’s office as a training administrator.
In her spare time she likes to read, write poetry and socialize with people from a diverse cultural background.
 

Henrietta Abboh - Care Co-ordinator

I Joined the SweetTree team as a Brain Injury Support worker in May 2010 before becoming a Care Coordinator in May 2011. Before joining SweetTree, I worked in Health Care and Educational settings, enabling vulnerable people to maximize their living and learning potential. In my current role as a Care Coordinator, I always try and match clients to the right carers in order to ensure a great working relationship. I am also passionate about helping clients or carers with any concerns they have.I am very happy working in SweetTree; everyone is very professional and passionate about their job! During my leisure time, I love to shop or lose myself in a good book.
 

Holly Fivian - Homecare Co-ordinator and Dementia Care Supervisor

Holly graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, gaining a 2.1 in English and Spanish. Holly joined SweetTree as a Support Worker and took on the role as Homecare Co-ordinator in September 2010. ‘Caring for others has always been a priority of mine and working for a company as passionate as SweetTree is an absolute pleasure!'. Originally from South Devon, Holly enjoys long county walks, travelling and spending time near the sea.  

Horace - Registered Pets As Therapy

SweetTree's Registered Pets As Therapy Pooch Horace is a 6 year old Boarder Terrier and has been a registered PAT dog (Pets As Therapy) for 5 years. Jake Dane - Brain Injury Care Supervisor

Jake is originally from New Zealand and has recently taken on an administration role in the office, but is also a support worker for SweetTree’s Brain Injury Service helping people to access the community and achieve their goals. In his spare time Jake likes to travel and play his guitar.  

Justin Burmeister - Brain Injury Service Manager

Justin joined SweetTree to co-ordinate and oversee the support provided to clients with brain injuries. He has many years experience in helping brain injured people improve their quality of life, and has a particular interest in rehabilitation and supporting people keen to return to work or participate in volunteer programmes. He enjoys travelling. 

Kasia Bubon Brain Injury Care Co-ordinator

I started my adventure with SweetTree at the end of 2009. I have worked as a Support Worker for about 1.5 years until I was offered a job as a BI Care Coordinator.
Stephanie is doing what she can to teach me everything as quickly as possible and it is quite a bit to learn. I do enjoy the busy environment here and I hope to meet all of you in the near future.
 

Keith Ashcroft - Director of Finance

Keith joined the SweetTree team in April 2012 as Director of Finance, as a qualified Chartered Accountant he brings with him a wealth of financial experience. Keith worked most recently in private healthcare with BUPA and previouly with Merrill Lynch International Bank and Barclays PLC.

Lisa Bradshaw-Bartlett - Complex Care Manager

Lisa joined the Brain Injury Service in November 2011 as Complex Care Manager; Lisa trained as a nurse in 1989 and went on to work as a sister on hospital wards. In 1990 as hospitals began to close and Lisa helped the friends she had made to re locate into their own homes in the community where most people enjoyed a much improved and empowered lifestyle. From there Lisa went on to qualify as a Nurse Specialist which she achieved in 1999. Thereafter Lisa then went on to working in the community, mostly in her home town of Essex. Lisa enjoys having fun with her friends and family.  

Magda Dyson - Senior Care Co-ordinator

Magda joined SweetTree as a Carer, before becoming a Care Co-ordinator. She is from Poland, where she completed a Masters of Philosophy and Social Education. She enjoys spending time with her husband and young son. 

Nadene Marlborough - Communications Manager

Nadene gained her Diploma in Art and Design at The Surrey Institute in 2000, and has worked within Healthcare Recruitment for nine years. It was Nadene’s main ambition to incorporate her creative side with her love for providing the best possible care to those who need it, and has found her perfect job working for SweetTree as Communications Manager. Nadene enjoys travelling, eating out, movies and spending time with her friends and family.  

Nicki Bones (RMN) - Director of Operations

Nicki was one of SweetTree’s founding members. She has developed and managed the training and quality assurance processes at SweetTree and has now taken on the role of Director of Operations. Nicki is a qualified nurse, moving/handling trainer, and NVQ assessor. She is married to Phil and they have two children.
 

Phil Bones - Driver/Handyman/Telecare Technician

Phil’s roles at SweetTree are various and diverse, but he spends much of his time helping clients with DIY around the house or driving them to appointments or shopping. He is also responsible for installing and maintaining SweetTree’s Telecare support. He is married to Nicki and is a passionate golfer.
 

Sandy Seymour (RGN, NDN) - Care Manager

A nurse and qualified moving/ handling assessor, Sandy carries out client assessments, reassessments and follow-up visits. She advises clients and their families on clinical issues as well as providing staff supervision and appraisals. Her main focus is northeast, southeast and east London. Sandy is married with two grown-up children, and she enjoys travelling, cooking and family time. 

Sarah Marksman - Credit Controller

Sarah joined Sweettree as a Credit Controller in the finance department in October 2010. Prior to this she has over 10 years previous experience in accounts. Sarah enjoys what she likes to call "family time", going out for meals, shopping and would love to travel the world.

 

Sarah Taie - Learning Disabilities Care Supervisor

Sarah joined SweetTree as a support worker in January 2010, and then took on the role of care supervisor in September 2010.
Previous to working at SweetTree, Sarah worked with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health difficulties in a variety of settings. She also recently completed a BSc Psychology degree.
Sarah loves travelling the world, experiencing new things and spending time with her friends and family.
 

Shahana Kakoly Care Co-ordinator

I started working for SweetTree in June 2010 as a Carer and in October as a Care Co-ordinator.
Prior to working with SweetTree I worked as a qualified physiotherapist in Bangladesh within a Centre for Disability in Development for 5 years. I Graduated from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2004. I then worked with people with disabilities with different conditions of Neurological, Pediatric, Musculoskeletal, and community based rehabilitation.
Like to traveling, reading and spending time with my family.
 

Sharon Horvath - Care Manager

As a senior member of the care team, Sharon oversees the care and support provided for clients and their relatives in the Central London area. She is a qualified moving/handling trainer and this brings her into contact with a wide variety of clients and carers. A keen cat lover, she enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends. 

Shelyna Begum - Learning Disabilities Care Co-ordinator

Shelly joined SweetTree in July 2009 as a Care Co-ordinator for the Learning Disabilities Team.
She has past experience supporting adults with mild – moderate Learning Disabilities.
Previous to that she was working in the finance sector, but now has chosen to further her career in care. She enjoys shopping and loves traveling.
Shelyna is currently on maternity leave.  

Shirin Razavi - Neurological Conditions Care Supervisor

Shirin has been working for SweetTree since early 2010 and in early 2011 went on to work as a care coordinator for the Brain Injury team. Shirin then moved on to be the Neurological Conditions Care Supervisor. Shirin completed her Cognitive Science (Psychology) degree in 2008 where she spent the next couple of years working for the NHS and various mental health charities before joining SweetTree. Shirin spends most of her time dancing, reading and learning different languages and enjoys travelling the world. 

Sian King - Registered Manager

Sian has seven years experience as Registered Manager having acheived her Registered Manager's Award in December 2005. Sian has much experience working in an Assited Living/Domiciliary Care environment. Since joining SweetTree in December 2006 Sian has handled the recruitment and development of our care team to ensure that working with SweetTree is a life-changing experience – for carers as well as clients. Sian also oversees CSCI insepctions and regulatory issues. She loves drawing and has created most of the cards we send out. 

Tina Papadopoulos - Care Supervisor

Tina joined Sweettree as a support worker and later as a Care coordinator. She has an NVQ in Anatomy & Physiology and a vast experience in the managerial field. She was promoted as a Care Supervisor for the General Service in 2010. She enjoys her work very much and likes to be organised. In her spare time Tina enjoys travelling and spending time with her husband and three children.  

Tom Nadarzynski - Brain Injury Care Co-ordinator

Tom graduated from University College London and the Institute of Psychiatry with a Master of Science in Health Psychology. He has been working in brain injury rehabilitation since 2007. Currently he supports senior team members in allocating rehabilitation sessions. In his spare time, Tom enjoys reading about astrophysics and quantum mechanics. He has also been involved in several film projects aiming to educate young people about the importance of a positive approach to health.
 

Wimbai Muswe - Learning Disabilities Co-ordinator

Wimbai started working at SweetTree as a Support Worker for the Learning Disabilities Service in November 2010 and now works as the Learning Disabilities Care Co-ordinator covering for Shelly Begum whilst she is on maternity leave. Wimbai was previously an Office Manager where she had the opportunity of solely running a branch of a care agency. Prior to that Wimbai worked in different fields of care supporting individuals with learning disabilities, palliative care and mental health. She has acquired NVQ level 3 in Social Care and completed a BSc in Sociology. Wimbai enjoys shopping, travelling and trying out different cuisine.  

Zuzanna Zajkowska - Brain Injury Training and Recruitment Supervisor

Zuzanna joined SweetTree as a Brain Injury Support Worker in September 2009 and she is now responsible for brain injury staff recruitment and training. She graduated in 2009 with a BSc in Psychology from University of Westminster and has 3 years of experience working with adults with acquired brain injury. She comes from Poland and likes trying and sometimes preparing various cuisines. She likes being active physically and mentally by jogging, playing badminton, reading and socializing.
