Abdul-Goni Ali - Management Accountant

 

Abdul graduated in January 2005 having gained a 2:1 in Accountancy and Finance and in August 2012 successfully completed his ACCA accountancy exams. Abdul joined SweetTree as the Management Accountant in December 2010 and brings with him over 6 years of finance experience.

Antoinette Edwards - Human Resources Manager

 

Antoinette is SweetTree’s Human Resources Manager. Having originally joined SweetTree as a Care Coordinator and having previously worked in Human Resources and as a Carer for 5 years, Antoinette brings with her a wealth experience. She also has qualifications in Social Work and law.

Becky Halliday - Brain Injury Support Manager

 

After graduating with a Psychology degree in Glasgow, Becky moved down to London to complete her Masters degree in Addiction Psychology. Having worked with different groups of vulnerable adults during her studies, Becky began working for the Brain Injury Service in September 2008 and moved to Support Manager in Feb 2012.
"I am a keen traveler and spend much of my free time seeing new places and experiencing different cultures and cuisine".

Bhanu Gorasiya - Assistant Accountant

 

Bhanu joined the SweetTree team as the Assistant Accountant in August 2007 and now responsible for running payroll for the whole team. Bhanu has a Diploma in Business and Finance and wide experience in the Finance field.
"In my spare time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, travelling the world, movies and being active by fitness classes (especially Zumba)".

Bhavna Chouhan - Brain Injury Administrator

 

Bhavna graduated from Westminster with a BSc Psychology degree and has always been interested in helping, supporting and caring for people. Bhavna started her career at SweetTree as a Support Worker in 2009 and now working for the Brain Injury Services as Administrator.
"The team is fantastic and I have gained a great deal of experience and I hope to learn more and more! After work I absolutely love shopping and eating out (especially Nando’s). I enjoy socialising, meeting new people, travelling and exploring different destinations".

Christina Ward - Brain Injury Care Coordinator

 

Christina joined SweetTree Home Care Services as a Brain Injury Support Worker in 2009 and was recently offered the position as Brain Injury Services Care Coordinator. Christina has worked in social care for many years, with experience as a Manager, as well as a Support Worker. Christina has completed her NVQ level 3 and level 4 in Health and Social Care and is hoping that working with the BI team will help her gain more knowledge and experience in this field that she loves to work in.

Dean Bosher - Dementia Service Manager

 

Dean began working for SweetTree in December 2011. Dean has had many years of experience in various care roles, but has focused on Dementia and activities for people with Dementia.

Dela Begum - Learning Disabilities Service Manager

 

After joining SweetTree as a Carer specialising in supporting people with learning disabilities, Dela became the company’s office manager. In 2004 she left to work in the voluntary sector, managing a home for adults with learning disabilities. She now heads SweetTree’s learning disabilities service.

Dorota Kucala - Human Resources Assistant

 

Dorota has worked for SweetTree since May 2006. In March 2010 she has completed her certificate in 'Personnel Practice' and is now responsible for supporting carers through the recruitment process.
"I am from Poland orginally and now happily live in London with my husband and two children. In my spare time I like reading, visiting London’s museums, theatres, musicals and ballets"

Elena Putik - Training Administrator.

 

Elena started her career at SweetTree as a Care Assistant in 2009 . “Caring for people and having a closer touch with the ones in need is the most invaluable and priceless experience I have enjoyed.” Originally from Bulgaria, Elena has completed a degree in BA International Relations in London and is currently working as Training Administrator for SweetTree. In her spare time she likes reading, writing poetry and socializing with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Henrietta Abboh - Care Co-ordinator

 

Henrietta joined the SweetTree team as a Brain Injury Support worker in May 2010 before becoming a Care Coordinator in May 2011. Henrietta previously worked in health care and educational settings, enabling vulnerable people to maximize their living and learning potential.
"In my current role as a Care Coordinator, I always try and match clients to the right carers in order to ensure a great working relationship. I am also passionate about helping clients or carers with any concerns they have. I am very happy working in SweetTree; everyone is very professional and passionate about their job! During my leisure time, I love to shop or lose myself in a good book".

Holly Fivian - Dementia Care Supervisor

 

Holly graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, gaining a 2.1 in English and Spanish. Holly joined SweetTree as a Support Worker and took on the role as Homecare Care Coordinator in September 2010. Caring for others has always been a priority of Holly.
"Working for a company as passionate as SweetTree is an absolute pleasure. Being originally from South Devon, I really enjoy long county walks, travelling and spending time near the sea".

Jade Michael – Brain Injury Care Coordinator

 

Jade has worked Support Worker with SweetTree since June 2010. Prior to this she studied for a Post Graduate degree in Psychology. Jade has worked in research and development with people who have an acquired brain injury and rare neurological conditions. In 2012 Jade now works full time as a brain injury Care Co-ordinator. “I am a creative person and in my spare time I enjoy the arts, visiting museums and galleries. I also enjoy being outdoors too and one of my favourite activities is riding my bike along the Thames.

Jake Dane - Brain Injury Support Manager

 

Jake is originally started work at SweetTree as a Brain Injury Support Worker, helping people to access the community and achieve their goals. Jake now enjoys the busy role of Care Supervisor for the BI team.

Justin Burmeister - Brain Injury Service Manager

 

Justin joined SweetTree to co-ordinate and oversees the support provided to clients with brain injuries. He has many years’ experience in helping people with acquired brain injuries to improve their quality of life. Justin has a particular interest in rehabilitation and supporting those who are keen to return to work or participate in volunteer programmes.

Keith Ashcroft - Finance Director

 

Keith joined the SweetTree team in April 2012 as Director of Finance, as a qualified Chartered Accountant he brings with him a wealth of financial experience. Keith worked most recently in private healthcare with BUPA and previouly with Merrill Lynch International Bank and Barclays PLC.

Louise Mitchell - Care Manager

 


Louise interest in care started back in 2002 when she worked in a Jewish residential home whilst at university studying Architecture. Since then she has worked as a volunteer with people with physical disabilities, a live in carer for dementia clients and a support worker for brain injury, neurological conditions and learning disabilities.
In 2012 she finished her degree in Occupational Therapy after completing 1000 hours of work placements in elderly care, orthopaedics and complex neurology. During her time at university she also gained experience in assessing clients in hospital and at home for their safety and equipment needs.
Louise loves traveling having spent almost 2 years in places such as China, Peru and Israel and worked and travelled in Australia for a year.

Magda Dyson - Senior Care Co-ordinator

 

Magda joined the SweetTree team in 2006 as a Carer before becoming a Care coordinator. Magda has now taken the role of Senior Care Co-ordinator for our general home care services. Magda is moving and handling trainer and first aid assessor. Magda is originally from Poland, where she completed a Masters of Philosophy and Social Education.

Michael Akinyemi - Care Coordinator

 

Michael graduated from the University of Wales, gaining a Master Degree in Business Administration (MBA). Michael took up the role of Care Assistant with SweetTree in 2010 and later joined the office team as a Care Coordinator in late 2011.

Mira Kubiec-Nowakowska – Brain Injury Care Coordinator

 

Mira has returned to SweetTree Brain Injury Care Coordinator after taking time away for maternity leave. Mira previously worked as SweetTree’s HR Manager, so is pleased to be back, working closely with SweetTree’s team once again. Mira enjoys travel, books and loves spending time with her new son and family.

Nadene Marlborough - Communications Manager

 

Nadene gained her Diploma in Art and Design at the Surrey Institute in 2000 and is currently studying Digital Marketing at The London School of Marketing. Nadene previously worked as a Care Manager in healthcare recruitment for nine years and it was her main ambition to incorporate her creative side with her love for providing the best possible care to those who need it. Now working as SweetTree’s Communications Manager she feels she has found that role.

Nicki Bones (RMN) - Director of Operations

 

Nicki was one of SweetTree’s founding members. She has developed and managed the training and quality assurance processes at SweetTree and has now taken on the role of Director of Operations. Nicki is a qualified nurse, moving/handling trainer, and NVQ assessor.

Phil Bones - Driver/Handyman/Telecare Technician

 

Phil’s diverse job role at SweetTree include IT support, facilities management and client handyman. We don’t know what we would do without him! Phil spends much of his time as handyman/ driver helping our clients with DIY around their home, driving to and from appointments and occasionally a little IT tuition too! Phil’s role in the office means he is responsible for installing and maintaining SweetTree’s Telecare support.

Sandy Seymour (RGN, NDN) - Care Manager

 

Sandy is a qualified nurse and moving/ handling assessor. Her role as Care Manager involves carrying out client assessments, reassessments and follow-up visits. She advises clients and their families on clinical issues as well as providing staff supervision and appraisals.
“I am married with two grown-up children and in my spare time I enjoy travelling and cooking for everyone. There’s often a cake in the SweetTree offices that I have baked for the team!”

Sarah Taie - Learning Disabilities Care Supervisor

 

Sarah joined SweetTree as a Support Worker in January 2010 and then took on the role of Learning Disabilities Care Coordinator before being promoted to Care Supervisor in September 2010. Previous to working at SweetTree, Sarah worked with individuals with Learning Disabilities and Mental Health difficulties in a variety of settings. Sarah completed her degree in BSc Psychology.

Shahana Kakoly Care Co-ordinator

 

I started working for SweetTree in June 2010 as a Carer and then as a Care Co-ordinator. Prior to working with SweetTree I worked as a qualified physiotherapist in Bangladesh within a Centre for Disability in Development for 5 years. I Graduated from Dhaka University, Bangladesh in 2004. I then worked with people with disabilities with different conditions of Neurological, Pediatric, Musculoskeletal, and community based rehabilitation.

Sharon Horvath - Care Manager

 

As a senior member of the care team, Sharon oversees the care and support provided for clients and their relatives as SweetTree’s general service Care Manager. Sharon is a qualified moving/handling trainer and this brings her into contact with a wide variety of clients and carers.

Shirin Razavi - Neurological Conditions Care Supervisor

 

Shirin has been working for SweetTree since early 2010 and in early 2011 went on to work as a Brain Injury Care Coordinator. Shirin then moved on to be the Neurological Conditions Care Supervisor, a role she feels extremely passionate about. Shirin completed her Cognitive Science (Psychology) degree in 2008 where she spent the next couple of years working for the NHS and various mental health charities before joining SweetTree.

Sian King - Registered Manager

 

Sian has many years’ experience as Registered Manager having achieved her Registered Manager's Award in December 2005. Sian has vast experience working in an assisted living/domiciliary care environment. Since joining SweetTree in December 2006 Sian has handled the recruitment and development of our care team to ensure that working with SweetTree is a life-changing experience for carers as well as clients. Sian also oversees CQC inspections and regulatory issues.

Wimbai Muswe - Learning Disabilities Co-ordinator

 

Wimbai started working at SweetTree as a Support Worker for the Learning Disabilities Service in November 2010 and now works as the Learning Disabilities Care Co-ordinator. Wimbai was previously an Office Manager where she had the opportunity of solely running a branch of a care agency. Prior to that Wimbai worked in different fields of care supporting individuals with learning disabilities, palliative care and mental health. She has acquired NVQ level 3 in Social Care and completed a BSc in Sociology.
