SweetTree Home Care Services Awarded 18th Place in The 100 Best Companies to Work for Accreditation!

We are pleased to announce SweetTree were awarded three stars in the Sunday Times 100 Best Companies to work for Accreditation! A three star rating demonstrates an ‘extraordinary’ level of staff engagement.
This year’s Best Companies received an incredible 1165 applications from organisations wanting to achieve a ‘Star Status’, and 919 organisations made it through the process of which 818 were accredited.
Being a ‘Best Company’ to work for is about excelling in performance and best practice according to eight key factors; Leadership, My Manager, Personal Growth, Wellbeing, My Team, Giving Something Back, My Company, and Fair Deal. The results are defined through the outcome from surveys sent direct to team member themselves.
At the core of SweetTree's philosophy is a belief that everyone should have the opportunity to live independently in their own home, with dignity, freedom of choice and control over their life; regardless of their level of need. SweetTree make this vision a reality by employing the best people, providing them with the best support and training and by adopting a team approach to the provision of services. SweetTree was ranked 1st nationally for all Mid Sized Companies in terms of the training it offers to the team.
The reliability and continuity of team members is of critical importance to the welfare of SweetTree’s clients. The SweetTree team takes great pride in the fact that our staff turnover rate has consistently been less than 10% which is an immense achievement within this sector.
Sarah Taie SweetTree’s Care Supervisor’s for the Learning Disabilities Service started as a Support Worker but says the close weekly contact she kept with the Service Manager Dela Begum helped bring about her promotion to supervisor. “In the short time I have been here I have seen career growth. They’re so person centered, it’s almost like family” Most office staff at SweetTree have been support workers or carers for the SweetTree Service and this helps create the passion for the service SweetTree provide.
SweetTree Home Care Services has been providing high quality support for people in their own homes since 2002 and offers a care and support for frail seniors as well as those with more specialist needs such as individuals with Brain Injuries, Neurological Conditions, Learning Disabilities and Dementia. The company is enjoying rapid expansion due to the range and quality of services offered.
Having achieved recognition through the Best Companies accreditation and Investors in People Award, SweetTree will continue to invest in their team members through strong support networks and comprehensive in-house training to ensure they are fully engaged and offer clients the highest quality care at home.
